Sara O’Leary-Whitney, 1999, grew up in the Gold Coast, QLD and currently lives and works in Sydney, NSW. She is self-taught in both oil paint as well as coloured pencil, with a higher focus on coloured pencil on paper artworks. Her artworks explore an overall concept of humanity and human nature. Through the use of pre-loved everyday objects utilised by beings, composed for Sara's works on paper, that often hold little importance yet carry an underlying idea of who we are as individuals and why we act in certain ways.
